Summer Progressive Dinner - June 5. Tour some of Galena's finest Bed and Breakfasts while dining under the stars. Entree will feature a Hog Roast. Tickets are $55. per person, $50. per person if you book at the Hellman Guest House. Reservations required, limited tickets available.
Historic Cemetery Walk - June 12 &13. Costumed re-enactors bring to life some interesting residents in this historic cemetery. tickets $12. per person. 2 - 4:30 pm. Packages available.

16th Annual Independence Day Parade and Celebration - Sunday, July 4th Parade featuring floats, bands and more. Live entertainment on Green Street until the fireworks start. Watch Galena's and surrounding towns fireworks from our front porch, and get a spectacular bird'seye view, while enjoying a delicious homemade buffet of sandwiches and salads for Hellman GuestHouse guests.
Galena History Museum Garden Walk - July 10 & 11. Tour some gardens in historic Galena, special demonstrations and local artists will be featured at various gardens. Evening garden party July 10. Seperate ticket for garden party. Packages available.
Antique Town Rods Run and Car Show - July 17 &18. Annual 127.3 road tour. Car show includes display of more than 100 pre-1949 street rods. 7am - 3pm.

Night of Luminiaria - December 18. One of the most beautiful and romantic visions of th year. The streets, steps and sidewalks of Galena will be lined with nearly 5,000 candle-lit luminarias. 6 - 9pm.
